These terms apply whenever you order from The Olive Tree Pair (“we”, “us”, “our”) via theolivetreepair.com. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. If anything is unclear, email us at ray@theolivetreepair.com before ordering and we’ll be glad to help.
The Olive Tree Pair sells hand-selected olive trees direct to customers in the UK, with delivery to selected areas or collection by arrangement. You can contact us anytime at ray@theolivetreepair.com.
As a UK consumer buying online, you normally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, for a full refund. To cancel, simply email us at ray@theolivetreepair.com stating your order details.
Please note that because olive trees are living plants, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible if you wish to cancel, and we may ask you to return the tree in the condition it was delivered (you’ll be responsible for return costs unless the tree arrived faulty or not as described). If a tree arrives damaged or different from what you ordered, please contact us straight away - see “Returns & refunds” below.
Olive trees are natural products, so each one is unique - size, shape and appearance may vary slightly from the photos shown, which are provided as a fair representation of what to expect. We hand-select each tree for health and character before it comes to you, and we’re always happy to answer questions about care after delivery.
We aim to ensure everything on this site is accurate, but occasionally errors (for example in pricing or descriptions) may occur - if we discover one after you’ve ordered, we’ll contact you before proceeding. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any issue with your order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses. (As with any UK business, the law simply doesn’t allow a small handful of things to be excluded by contract - such as fraud - but these would be highly unusual for a tree delivery, and nothing here is intended to go beyond what’s legally required.)
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales. This does not affect your rights as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.
